A life insurance sales floor in San Antonio, run by an Army veteran. We cover your licensing course and train you before your first call.
Kill the zombies.
Every one of these is a doubt that kills a career before it starts. Click one to put it down.
You get paid commission by insurance carriers on the policies you sell. That's the job. Building a team is optional, and nobody here asks you to recruit before you can sell.
Most people who start here haven't. That's why boot camp exists. You learn the script, the quoter, and the rebuttals, and you pass a quiz at each stage before you take a live call.
No. You work leads from us. Your family and friends never have to hear a pitch from you.
Most applicants don't. We cover your pre-licensing course and walk you through booking the state exam on your interview call.
It's real, and we won't pretend otherwise. You'll want a few lean weeks covered while you get licensed and ramp up. What we control is the part that sinks most new agents: no training and nobody listening to your calls.
Our rule is that you tell every client the truth about what they're buying. Final expense is a short conversation about a real problem: who pays for the funeral.
Every agent who sells here is licensed by the state, and you can look up any of our licenses yourself. Bring every question you've read online to your interview, or come see the floor in person, and we'll answer it straight.
You can work remote. You'll need a quiet space, a solid connection, and a license for each state you sell in.
If a carrier advanced you commission and the policy lapses early, that advance gets charged back. We teach you to write business that sticks, and we explain every carrier's terms in your interview.
Your state licensing fees are on you. Everything else comes up in your interview before you commit to anything.
All clear. Now test yourself.

Nobody takes a live call untrained.
This isn't for everyone.
- You need a salary or hourly pay. This is commission-only, independent contractor work.
- You can't cover a few lean weeks while you get licensed and ramp up.
- You don't want someone reviewing your calls and telling you what to fix.
- You want money without talking to people all day.

What we cover.
Pre-licensing course
The course you need before the state exam.
Leads to start
You work leads from us, not your family and friends.
Boot camp
The script, the quoter, rebuttals, and carrier underwriting, stage by stage.
Call reviews
Your calls get reviewed so you hear exactly where the sale got away.
A seat on the floor
A desk in our San Antonio office near UTSA, with agents dialing around you.
Carriers pay you a commission when a policy you wrote is issued. Some advance part of the first-year commission, and an advance gets charged back if the policy lapses in its first months. Lead value based on published per-call rates from final expense telesales lead programs.
0340
You can tell a lot about a place by when its leader gets up. This is a normal weekday.
- Up before the floor is
The day starts in the dark. Quiet, coffee, nobody asking for anything yet.
- The same book, every morning
Close to two hours of reading and study before the sun is up. It shapes how he treats people at two in the afternoon.
- On the floor
Admin first, before anyone dials, so the day runs clean.
- Afternoons are for business
Lunch, then writing applications with the team.
- Lights off
Home to the family. Wednesday nights are spoken for.
- Saturdays on the floor
Roughly ten to four, for anyone who wants extra reps.
- Off
No exceptions.
The owner.
Nathaniel Ruiz. Owner.
I served in the Army, then got into insurance in 2022. I spent my first two years selling in people's living rooms before moving to the phones, and I learned most of it the hard way because nobody trained me.
So I built the place I wish I'd started at. I run the floor at our San Antonio office. If you join, you'll be on calls with me and the team from your first week.
Braden, featured in our interview episode, is an agent on our team, and the agency earns overrides on his business.
